When Do I Apply For My Domestic Helper's
Home Leave Application?
Upon completion of her contract in Singapore typically they are given a short break to see their family and settle home matters. (2 weeks)
What to Prepare For Home Leave Application?
Check that your helper has a valid passport for her Home Leave (at least a year)
Apply for her home leave with her country's Embassy. Renewal of Employment Contract which has been verified by the Indonesian Embassy.
Keep a copy of her travel ticket for her home leave (round trip)
During her home leave period: Employers can get a levy waiver during her home leave and defer her 6 month medical examination if she is due for it.
The helper is required to bring her:
1) Work Permit Card
2) Passport
3) Home Leave Letter (by Indonesian Embassy)
